On Thursday we were invited down to Shoreditch for the label launch party of Chormoza Recordings . With upcoming releases in the deep/disco/garage side of house, their sound is right up our street. Our mate GEM DOS has laid down an ace new track with a cool abstract video to go with it. The track is melodic electronica featuring soulful vocals, which are actually one female vocal line pitch shifted and contorted a number of ways. The video features a man with a very nice beard hanging about looking very serious near a lake. We've been big Oneman fans since his excellent FabricLive album of last year. Jamie Jones wants to make you moan and groan. The Hot Natured underground house music fave has dropped a new release just in time for the summer season to start. It deep, bouncy and cheeky and has Mr Jones' signature sound stamped all over it. The release also features two remixes of ‘Tonight in Tokyo’ taken from Jamie’s album ‘Tracks from the Crypt’ released last summer. It’s a different sound, euphoric rave perfect house music and gets a big thumbs up from us too. Out on Monday on Crosstown Rebels .
