Following on from his scorching new single called ‘Anxger’ (which we reviewed a few days ago), Vidda’s miscellany of chord use and punchy basslines carry this Manhattan whizz-kid through to further extremes, devastating claps and arpeggio beatdowns – with the all important hook. Packed with enough excitement to match any Champions League Final, Vidda lets loose his bunch of personal golden goals. Download ‘Dutch Me So Hard’ (Original Mix) – HERE . * * [...]

Deadmau5 has been burying his head into his citadel of plug-ins recently - as from the sound of these unfinished and sketchbook uploads - the results sound remarkably great. Flown across with a work-in-progress track title intent whilst burning the midnight oil with Jake from Kill The Noise, here are some of Deadmau5’s before & after previews that are rising from the complex dungeon known as Mau5trap. DEADMAU5 - Moog Bass + Modular DEADMAU5 - Suite 03 DEADMAU5 - Monophobia [...]

Earlier this week Belanger released a new track called Take Me Home that we just can't get off repeat. We've had an eye on the New York-based producer for awhile now, having been impressed by his polished blend of styles, and this new single displays that in full. Take Me Home successfully combines house, nu-disco, and electro vibes making for something truly unique and prepped for summertime. We're treated to a tantalizing build-up, tropical drums, and a thumping backbeat that ties it all together quite nicely. Start your Friday off right with this huge new track, and be sure [...]
Schooled in electronic dance music alchemy, six of the best preeminent tastemakers entice their passions further amid a wall-to-wall exercise of uplifting structures and chords. Boys Noize Records present the acid-cuboid known as Cardopusher .. Tmare remixes KillReall – and ends up sounding like Madeon would do (if he had swallowed a Mat Zo pill).. ShureFire Records bangs out a flame-grilled ‘Emualtor’ by Pheeno.. and Seven Lions, Minnesota & Mimi Page, do what they know best, and use the same type of patent sounds (on ‘Fever’) that they are customarily known for. Goldroom wraps up the [...]
Set against a riding high expression of seraph-flown quarters, Kristoffer Ljungberg’s ‘Heat’ and Fuzzy Cuzzin’s ‘Tucana’ are the result of a significant elevated standard expected by those who use patience & thought as often as whose who blink their eyes. Meaningful synths and out-of-this-world arpeggios simplify Matt Fax’s remix and the two originals intensely. Landis changes Cedric Gervais’ ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ into a less sleek manoeuvre than its original counterpart - by adding several reams of aerodynamic bounce and bags of underground sauces & spices. Premium productions are on showcase from electronic dance music’s version of The [...]
Oakenfold & Project 46s’ best, has just become even better by Moiez’s latest pumpin’ and pounding re-work. Equally as paramount as his recent Armin van Buuren remix, Moiez gets our hands in the air and those runways cleared for another Iberian-styled takeoff. Hidden below within our Aerial Noise bonus drop are Stereotronique & Northend’s ‘Rhusma,’ yet another Moiez booty-bomb, Sedi’s original submission for the EDC : Las Vegas Discovery Project competition, and a lethal ‘Freq Shift’ by D05. The frequencies have just been tweaked up a bit – care of these cheeky rascals. [...]
Now that “Random Access Memories” has finally been let out of Columbia’s gates, there have been all sorts of curveballs, dead weights and homeruns made within this diamond field of 13 tracks. Aaron Metford (aka Togglehead) opts for a more rapid approach that brings electro-fied synths and dynamic drums to The Robots vast analogue table.

I immediately want to start off this post by apologizing for not posting in like, jesus, 2 weeks? I've been slammed with school, work, life but I plan on making a full-fledged comeback. Anyway, wanna kick off that comeback with a few from Joel Zimmerman , or as most of you know him as, Deadmau5 . He recently flooded his SoundCloud with some of the most beautifully composed tracks that I've heard him released in a while. Giving me goosebumps, taking my mind places they shouldn't go, wandering in his synths, progressions and beats. Some of [...]
Hailing from Legnica, Poland, Carlo Calabro’s focus in dance music seriousness is a direct as a Funktion One soundsystem built to last. Already championed by fellow luminaries such as Christopher Lawrence, Markus Schulz, Tiësto, Lange and Rank 1, the future looks bright for this steady, upcoming producer/DJ/radio show host, Carlo Calabro . His monthly radio show called “Pushing The Bar” can be heard via Digitally Imported (www.di.fm). Carlo Calabro’s reflex-styled manipulation of thunderous chainsaws & ear-splitting arpeggio use, has to be experienced live to be understood completely. [...]

The New York production duo known as The Chainsmokers are quickly gaining popularity with their remixes thanks to the style and catchiness they bring. The latest remix is of Say Lou Lou 's tune "Julian," which has easily become one my personal favorite remixes from these guys. It has an upbeat feel, and while has dance elements, isn't just a dance remix. It's poppy, it's progressive, and it has house vibes, but if there is one thing to label it, then I would say it's just awesome. A great tune for your Tuesday and the fact it [...]
There are many facets to The Dillinger Escape Plan sound, there’s a complexity to the songs that requires attention. Give them your attention and be rewarded. - By Geoff Topley

There are plenty of reasons not to like Mondays, but when it's a Monday that NYC duo The Chainsmokers decides to release a new track, well, that's certainly one reason to love it. The guys sent their brand new official remix for the beautiful gypsetting sister duo Say Lou Lou over this morning, describing it as what they feel to be their best song yet, and we have to say we absolutely agree. As big fans of Say Lou Lou's original work, we have high expectations for any remixes that come out, and this version of [...]

It has been quite a long time since I deeply listened to some Rock that really impressed me, let alone local. A close friend of mine had told me that old High School buddies from New West had released some material under the name " Hillfolk " so once I got home I found one of them on Facebook and there it was. All of the members in this band are talented musicians so I was not surprised to find myself replaying the 3 tracks they've put out so far. The wide range of influences that they have completely shows [...]
Bangin’ down our doors like an irate fishwife who’s overdosed Prozac, Red Bull and the odd shavings of Ritalin, 3-man production group, Erotic Café , engage their own electro house cylinders on ‘Rebirth’ - and get hot ‘n’ heavy with an Ingrosso & Trash tune from the vault - plus another original penned number. Erotic Café, set ‘em down.. run away quickly.. and then watch from afar until it goes BOOM!
Thanks to multi-talented: Diskonekted, The Bloody Beetroots, Spinnin’ Records, Mindset and Ruben Brundell, electronic dance music this Friday gets taken down the motorway at 130mph – with a few 360 degree “astro spiral barrel rolls” worth of free downloads. Another lesson in competition winning quality control from Mindset / Toby Hedges / BXT concludes, with a top-notch mix from 12-3 Recordings don, Ruben Brundell. Every track featured on Diskonekted’s DJ mix can be downloaded for free. You know [...]

Klingt jazzig. [...]
Hiram offer up a tantalising view of what the future might hold but this release doesn't realise their full potential. - By John Sturm
Scholes, Ferdinand and Beckham are the latest names in the world of football to retire, but DJ/producer Henry Fong is in no way hanging up his boots anytime soon. Henry Fong slips on a different cap for a change (with Stand Up’) and remains in sync with the rest of his progressive-launching outfits. Wait until you hear his choice of bass and drums on this bouncing ball! Cover art by Eddie Perez .
Dark Reverence is a sub-par release that really could have been much better, and Noire will need to improve drastically if they ever hope to release something in the same league as one of their influences. - By Grayson Hale
