I planned to write about something else, but I started listening to the Gap Dream album and now everything else sounds pale in comparison right now. Gap Dream is the name Cleveland, Ohio dude Gabriel Fulvimar uses to record, and this album came to fruition when Fulvimar sent the guys at Burger Records one of his songs. Australian psychedelic rockers Tame Impala announced a new record this week called Lonerism , and debuted one of the album tracks along with the announcement. That track, called "Apocalypse Dreams," befits its title. It's a lengthy, extremely psychedelic piece that seems almost symphonic in scope, evoking the spacey orchestral work of Pink Floyd circa Dark Side Of The Moon .
