Does he look like a bitch? We just had some giggles over that line on the CrunkBook last week.
OOOOHWEEE! I have some heat for you today. City Hall fave, DJ Wick-it the Instigator, has mashed up songs from Pulp Fiction with hip hop. It's brilliant. Enjoy. Bang Bang - Wick-it - Notorious B.I.G. and KRS One vs Nancy Sinatra - Love this mashup. The original Nancy Sinatra song is one of the best movie songs EVER. It is however from one of Tarantino's other movies, Kill Bill. Shaolin vs White Lotus - Wick-it ft RZA and Ghostface Killah [...]

The only people in the building who were more excited for the Deloreans' cover of the Pulp Fiction soundtrack than I was were the Deloreans themselves. Their enthusiasm for the cover set showed not only in their costumes (everyone from Jules and Vincent to the Wolf and the one all my friends kept calling "Eric [...]
Curious as to how Samuel L. Jackson is Hollywood's highest grossing actor? None of Jackson's films are ever complete without him delivering the movie's most compelling lines and nailing them [...]

by Antwan Shalom /// Style : Pulpy House Welcome to the world of the talented Joyce Muniz , our favourite girl in the House Music. Before we go any further in our intellectual analysis of this genuisly produced EP, I have to warn you: do not expect some girly music "à la" Beyoncé or Lady Gaga (though I love both of them)... "Pulp Fiction EP" is a rough House release with heavy basslines, Tech-House-style sampling, non-sense lyrics... and above all, some kick-ass drums! You can buy "Pulp [...]

Fantastic work from Exploited alum Joyce Muniz. Her "Pulp Fiction" euro-house joint has some retro visuals to go with it. More top notch underground house vibes. Dig. > JOYCE MUNIZ FACEBOOK > RECOMMENDED | Pulp Fiction EP [BEATPORT] www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zFJA0 XzyfE Posted by Celebrity Sex Tape.
Joyce Muniz's funky, percussion-heavy DJ sets – covering everything from Afro beats to tropical tech, electro, and house – have already garnered her a huge international following, and Pulp Fiction, on Exploited Records is a direct reflection of her "serious sweating on the dancefloor" style. The title track is melodic and lighthearted, a party jacking house track with subtle pop moments. Tech-ed out chords and the smooth vocals drive the excellent "Morning Love," and "Pray for Peace" is full of futuristic afro-tropical house vibes. The jacking, warm "Back Down" also stands out, and "New In Town" rounds out the [...]

Today I am unveiling a long-awaited post (at least by Kyle, if no one else) which began as a discussion in a basement several years ago that in turn was partially responsible for me becoming part of Those Who Dig. It's time to talk about one of my favorite films and one of my favorite hip-hop albums (and a probably a lot of others' favorites too), and the strong similarities between them: Pulp Fiction and Enter the Wu Tang: 36 Chambers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I bring da motherfuckin' ruckus!
This is total low rent internet fodder, but fuck it. Enjoy. These are the real deal btw, they're from the animation production company that's contracted to do the Simpsons and a bunch of other shows.

Never heard of Urge Overkill? Do not be so quick to reply, "Yes." Remember in Quentin Tarantino's classic, Pulp Fiction , where Uma Thurman is singing Neil Diamond's, "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon?" Well, you have Urge Overkill to thank for that. Their cover of the song accompanies Thurman during her iconic overdosing scene. Having taken a long break since then (their last full-length was 19952s Exit the Dragon) , the group has returned with Rock & Roll Submarine, an album that is a nostalgic nod to the alternative rock sounds of the '90s. [...]
Cable-cutting fans of the Miramax collection, boasting 284 Academy Award nominations with 68 Oscar wins, will be delighted to see them finding their way to streaming services across the map. Filmyard Holdings, who purchased Miramax from Disney late last year for $660 million, has shown quite a commitment to their ...
When old skool drum n bass classics get the often inevitable remix to bring them up to date, they very rarely improve upon the original and more often that not just send you scurrying back to your vinyl collection to dig it out. Lynx's take on the Metalheadz classic "Pulp Fiction" however, proves the exception to the rule. The Alex Reece original was a bit of a game changer in the drum n bass world upon it's release in 1995, it's simple 2-step rhythm splitting opinions throughout the scene. [...]

O h, the things I missed living in Argentina for four and a half years: cranberry juice, customer service, good hip hop in public spaces and Secret Diary of a Call Girl , which, apparently, was a big hit when it debuted in the U.S. on Showtime nearly three years ago. Thankfully, I now have my Australian friends to sort me out, and it's one of the things they all seem to be raving about at the moment. (It airs on the recently launched GEM TV channel here, and the first two seasons are available on DVD.) [...]

If you don't think I'm insanely excited at the thought of Community's March 24 homage to the Tarantino classic Pulp Fiction, then you don't understand my affinity for both of those cultural products. The NBC sitcom is perhaps, not only the best sitcom on television, but also the best show. Period. Zap2It has the first photo stills from the episode , which features Jeff (Joel McHale) attempting to throw a surprise birthday party for Abed, who usually knows everything that is going on at Greendale. On a related note, show-creator [...]
