Montreal's Corin Roddick and Megan James, who together are known as Purity Ring, released their debut LP, Shrines, earlier this week on July 24. In January 2011, within a year of the formation of Purity Ring, Roddick and James, ages 21 and 24 respectively, released their debut single "Ungirthed," gaining widespread attention. Since then, the duo has released three additional singles leading up to this album, including "Belispeak," "Obedear," and "Fineshrine."
