A este par le fue de maravilla con su álbum debut, Shrines , y es que no es para menos. El disco incluye unos nuevos clásicos (como su primer sencillo, " Fineshrine ") que no podían pasar desapercibidos. Tal es el caso de " Lofticries ", el último corte de dicho material, para el cual reclutaron a AG Rojas como director; lo podrán recordar por haber dirigido el magnífico video para " Hey Jane " de Spiritualized. Otro golazo por parte de Purity Ring .

Après le succès de leur dernier album Shrines , Purity Ring s'est fait quelque peu discret, mais aujourd'hui le groupe revient avec un tout nouveau clip pour le titre Lofticries . Une vidéo plutôt inhabituelle pour le groupe avec cette suite de personnages que l'on retrouve dans des situations des plus étranges.

The video for Purity Ring's "Lofticries" is a simple one, but a well-shot and well-observed one nonetheless. It's been summed up fairly accurately in this statement from its director AG Rojas: "'Lofticries' is a music video exploring the stoicism of psychically connected characters confronted by surreal, climactic moments. It is also a song off my favorite album of the year by Purity Ring." If that intrigues you (and it should) then watch the video below.

Take a walk with the various characters in this new video for Purity Ring 's "Lofticries." Follow them as they slide down slides, walk in the rain and do other random activities, then morph into the next scene and do it all over again! This one might have you scratching your head, but who knows, repeated views might flesh out the intricacies of the clip.

Purity Ring have dropped an awe-inspiring, new video supporting their latest LP Shrines . Directed by AG Rojas, "Lofticries" expands on the sifting electronica by transferring from one lucid dream to another. It's jarring yet tranquil in the sense that although each character stumbles upon something threatening, they always seem about two steps away from any actual danger.
