Bangalore event organising company Ancient Mosquito are putting together a concert called The Pit. This will be their first ever indoor event and will therefore subsequently witness the rise of Ancient Mosquito through The Pit. The concert is being organised to promote "the best upcoming metal bands from Bangalore" and will see performances by nine young bands, including Cheisrah (pictured). The concert will be taking place at ION on Brigade Street in Bangalore on November 17 and will be a great way for people interested in metal to acquaint themselves with new metal that is arising out of Bangalore. Quarantine is the full-length debut by Laurel Halo for Kode92s Hyperdub label. As "Light And Space" suggested, it builds and expands upon Halo's recent string of promising, experimental synth-based releases, which incorporated ambient and techno elements and featured varying degrees of vocal presence.
