NYC's WFUV-FM Off the Air !!

     MUSIC NEWS - Don't panic !   Due to power outages the Fordham University , Bronx, NY campus, public radio station, WFUV-FM (90.7) and WFUV.org have been unable to broadcast since late this afternoon.  Dennis Elsas was on the air at the time, and was able to warn listeners of the pending outage.  As of 10:30p NY time,  this evening, they're still off the air (and missed).  No word yet when the problem will be solved.

LA's Indie 103.1FM Switches to Internet Only

     MUSIC NEWS  - The five-year-old Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1 FM announced this week that it would end broadcasting over the air, and instead provide only a Web feed of music programming. The stream will be devoid of DJs like former Sex Pistol Steve Jones, host of the station's popular "Jonesy's Jukebox." New Program Director Named at KCRW-Santa Moncia !

      MUSIC NEWS - Jason Bentley, longtime KCRW  (89.9FM) / Santa Monica, Calif., DJ of the evening show "Metropolis," will take over the "Morning Becomes Eclectic" show starting December 1 and has been named the station's music director.   "This is a wonderful KCRW story.
