Bristol's cleverly named Seasfire , could be England's next answer for down-tempo, heavy bass R&B. On their single, "Falling", the vocals are massive, and while the instrumentation may seem quite minimal at first, it cascades slowly and deeply into the heartbeat of this track. I even hear a tiny bit of Seal in here. I mean in that in the most positive way.With a very interesting immediate sound, I'm quite intrigued to see what the future holds for these guys. Kellz is back. R. Kelly has released the 1st single, "Share My Love", off his new LP, Write Me Back . The track certainly seems inspired by one Barry White and takes us back to the care-free stepping time of the legend's music. (Think "Happy People"). While he continues to prep the album, don't forget about the Love Letter Cruise , that the man is putting on in October! Hopefully he'll contain himself on the high seas. R. Kelly - "Share My Love"
Incredibly smooth new John Legend song called, "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)" This might be one of the best slow-bop bedroom songs since Usher's "Daddy's Home". Luda adds a verse filled with innuendo and metaphors. This is taken off the upcoming soundtrack for the film, Think Like A Man .

Say hello to your new favorite "chill" hip-hop track. One listen to this and like me, you will be humming the chorus over and over. On "Dope Girl", Zakee croons over a very smooth little beat, presenting his case that everyone needs someone "dope" of their own. The video is wonderfully shot, as I especially love the part when the lyric "I can look across the sky into the rainbow", is visually shown with color erupting into frame for the first time. After literally just dropping the video last week for "Countdown", Beyonce has released visuals for her next single, "Love On Top" .This had to be filmed pre-pregnant Beyonce, because she is putting her full 80's Whitney Houston on blast, singing every last blood vessel out of her body. There are no if's and's or but's about it, the radio killa stays dropping that modern popular R&B. On his free album release, 1977, The-Dream comes hard with a record's worth of pent-up relationship anger and brutal honesty, even going as far as releasing the album under his given name Terius Nash.
