I don't know what to think of all these posthumous J Dilla releases, but perhaps one worth being excited about is the materialization of the instrumentals from Rebirth of Detroit . The original album sported features from Danny Brown, Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson and more, but it also felt a tad disorganized. The latest visuals off of the Rebirth of Detroit project have released today, and they're matched with one of my favorite tracks heard on the album. Rebirth is Necessary focuses on Detroit's troubles and how the people of the city are struggling to survive. We all adore Dilla. That’s a given. It’s also obvious that you’ll want to fall in love with a new Dilla album even if it’s a posthumous release. I’m not a fan of artists work being released after they died, as you’ll find out. My perception of this practice is that it’s 33.3% insult to the artist. A few days ago, we posted what appeared to be a personal message from an engineer who worked on J Dilla's new posthumous album,  Rebirth of Detroit . Among other things, he urged Dilla fans to  not purchase the album, which caused a lot of apparent frustration from the camp behind the project. "Class is now in session." J. Dilla's new album, Rebirth of Detroit , hits stores tomorrow.  The project features production from J. Dilla and a collection of emcees representing the Motor City's finest Hip Hoppers.  Today we have a leak from the project featuring Boldy James and his cousin, Chuck Inglish from the Cool Kids.  The song is the lo-fi and funky "Detroit Game", that sounds like it could've been pulled straight from a 19702s soundtrack.  Get the new record below, and order the Rebirth of Detroit right here .

Featuring rival city dwellers Boldy James and Chuck Inglish , "Detroit Game" gets a Chicago spin.
