According to this post on the group's Facebook page, Nothington will be releasing an acoustic 7-inch in May via Red Scare . The release is set to include three new songs (including one that may appear on the band's next full-length), as well as a stripped-down version of "Not Looking Down," originally found on their 2009 effort Roads, Bridges and Ruins .

Red Scare has announced plans to reissue Teenage Bottlerocket 's 2004 debut Another Way on CD. The album, out of print and previously only available on vinyl, has been remastered and the new package will also include the tracks from the group's first two 7-inches (which are also out of print), making it a 17-song program. The Menzingers ' heavily acclaimed 2010 full-length Chamberlain Waits is finally receiving a vinyl release in conjunction with Record Store Day , which falls on April 16 this year. Chamberlain Waits took the top spot in Punknews.org's Best of 2010 list and was #2 on our Readers' Best of 2010 list .

In a recent interview with Punk CD Sampler , Tom May of The Menzingers noted that the band has made some progress writing on their next album, as well as continuing work on their acoustic EP. Cleveland's The Sidekicks are planning to hit the road this month for a number of shows in the US. A few highlights of the trek include a vinyl record release show for their 2009 full length Weight of Air at the Grog Shop in their hometown, as well as a New Years Eve gig at Chicago's Firesie Bowl alongside The Copyrights .

Fort Collins, CO outfit Elway have joined Red Scare . The band is a new incarnation of 10-4 Eleanor , a group in which all of Elway's members were previously involved. Red Scare will be releasing their debut full-length in 2011, which the band will be recording at Atlas Studios in Chicago with producer Matt Allison.

The release will be coming out via Red Scare . The band released Chamberlain Waits this year. The band is heading down to the Fest this year and then will be heading across the pond to Europe for the rest of the year.
