Poprvé u nás vystoupila před dvěma lety v rámci festivalu Colours of Ostrava .
2012 was a very good year for music. Sometimes it's difficult to come up with enough albums for my year end list, this year the problem was narrowing down my choices. Click on the album titles to read the full reviews, purchase the albums, and, in some cases, watch videos and/or download mp3s. Then comment [...]
What We Saw From The Cheap Seats is Russian-American singer-songwriter Regina Spektor's latest release. I've been chewing on this album for a long time and I still have frustratingly mixed emotions about its eccentricities. Most of it is sheer, breathtaking brilliance. I especially love the cinematic, piano pop opener "Small Town Moon" - seriously, even [...]
Regina Spektor's video for "How" is theatrical, animated and full of the symbolism Spektor fans have come to love and dissect. "How," off What We Saw From The Cheap Seats (Sire/Warner Bros.), still has the quirky nature that's expected, but Spektor has grown up a little, and it shows in this clip. Watch it below.
Novo clipe da Regina Spektor , que tem uma voz linda, mas às vezes músicas bem chatas :) Posts relacionados: [Álbum] "Far", Regina Spektor [Video] "Don't leave me (Ne me quitte pas)", Regina Spektor [Video] "Call your girlfriend", [...]

Regina Spektor's official music video for "How," is from her new album "What We Saw From The Cheap Seats." Lovely ballad and sung with so much love and emotion. Good to see talented artists working for major labels. One of the slickest looking video, I've seen all year.
Regina Spektor's recent videos for " All The Rowboats " and " Don't Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas) " were quirky, fun affairs. But despite flashes of old-timey animation and a scene where she appears to be wearing butterfly wings, Spektor's new video for the breakup-driven piano-ballad "How" is something else entirely. It's a calm and sincere moving portrait of Spektor, the camera worshipping at her feet and switching back and forth between lush color and even lusher black-and-white. Margo Weathers directs; watch it below. Read More...
We've had quite a while to indulge ourselves on Regina Spektor 's What We Saw from the Cheap Seats yet the ballad in the form of "How" is as beautiful as ever. Add to that a sleek looking video in which Regina takes centre stage for the subtle vid in just a couple of outfits and you've got yourself some perfect easy morning viewing. I particularly like the cotton wool looking clouds. Enjoy it at the top. What We Saw from the Cheap Seats is out now and you [...]

Well, isn't this cute? Husband and wife Jack Dishel (aka Only Son ) and Regina Spektor look pretty classy in the video for "Call Them Brothers." Directed and shot by James Holland using Super 8mm film (additional archival footage was shot by family friend Howard Zuckerman), the happy couple gets a historical tint via photographs and home videos (including a clip of Dishel hamming it up as a kid). The track was originally recorded for Only Son's self-released 2011 album "Searchlight," but a new reworking can also be found the deluxe version of Spektor's latest album "What [...]
