Lightouts make me reminisce about some of the best alt music of the 90’s with their postively rockin’ single, “The Big Picture”. Unlike so many of their fellow Brooklyn acts, this duo isn’t afraid of loud guitars and huge hooks. Maybe being from Gowanus helps members Greg Nelson and Gavin Rhodes stand out from the packed borough, and we appreciate their willingness to not conform to standards.
