OK, this is really, really dope. So, this dude Rewrote is a somewhat-unknown producer from Somerville, Mass. who runs with the MOD crew. And one of his tracks, "Properr", apparently landed in the hands of none other than DJ Shadow , who was looking for some new music to spin. Upon hearing Rewrote's track, he was so impressed that he decided to put together his own edit of "Properr" that now features previously unreleased Bun B vocals. Leave it up to DJ Shadow to put Bun B over something like this. Combining producer Rewrote's "Properr" with an unreleased verse/hook that Shadow had up his sleeve, he made this monster of a track. Members Trap Arnold and Rewrote of the trippy, electronic group M|O|D dropped some singles on SoundCloud recently. "MoreLoko" using some really squeaky sounding synthesizers and a boom-bap beat, it is definitely styled like a hip-hop instrumental. That being said it is still a stimulating track with a good use of layering on top off an already compelling beat. "Koola" is unique from the other song, it is more of a dance electronic track with club styled synthesizers and some really deep wobbling bass.
