Today marks the day Rick Ross & fans have been waiting for, the release of his 5th studio LP God Forgives, I Don't. Ross explained in an interview yesterday, Dre is is biggest influence of all-time and it is definitely a feat getting the Doctor to feature on a track. Um. Here's the video for Rick Ross ' big God Forgives, I Don't collaboration with Dre and Jay. The video is about as literal as you can get: mention of a helicopter? Picture of a helicopter. Mention of Al Capone? Picture of Al Capone. Ross mentioned that he thinks he should be able to get Dre and Jay to both appear in the video, but this looks like it's all found footage pieced together. This can't be the real, official video, right?

In the video for their all-star collaboration "3 Kings" , the turbulent beginnings and hard-fought ascensions of  Rick Ross , Jay-Z , and Dr. Dre are highlighted like the most intimate of home movies. Rozay made quite a buzz when he first leaked the fact that this song was appearing on his upcoming album. Well, the day has come and the track has officially been released. I like it. ​ There was a lot of hype for this track, I mean, Jay and Dre on a track? Didn't ring anything special with me, but check it out for yourself below. Ross ' God Forgives I Don't will drop at the end of this month.

It's been a while since I've posted anything from beardyman Rick Ross, but the latest track from his soon-to-be-released album God Forgives But I Don't is as good a reason as I need to break the drought. Rozay has linked up with a couple of elder statesmen (Jay-Z and Dr Dre) to drop a tune by the name of '3 Kings', backed by a soulful, piano-backed beat from producer Jake One. It took me a while to form an opinion on this track. Whenever you see monster collaborations like this, it is only natural to set the bar incredibly high. My initial reaction was that this didn't quite meet my expectations. After a few listens, though, it has grown on me considerably. We can't be too hard on the Doctor's opening verse considering he has only released a handful of bars in the last decade. On this, he borrows the Boss's flow and delivers a decent verse.
