Back in December, portions of Kanye's "Monster" music video were leaked , much to our delight. We were shown a very dark, macabre kind of music video complete with hanging corpses, beheadings, and S&M. Now, with the release of the official video for the hit single off of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy , we get to see English director Jake Nava's work as it was meant to be seen (and it's more twisted than we could have imagined).

Several months after a rough cut leaked online , Kanye West has finally released the final version of his "Monster" video. The clip, posted on the rapper's website, comes with this disclaimer: "The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. The gang's all here: Yeezy, Rick, Jay, Harajuku Barbie, dead models hanging from chains … Yikes. The's clip's intro warning - "The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. Kanye's on his murder masochist grind in this one. The video originally leaked back in December.. I don't know why it took 6 months to release it but here it is! Maybe the petition and MTV's ban against the video had something to do with it? The sensitivity of society... MBDTF went platinum in January of this year.

It took a few months but the final version for Kanye's "‘Monster" video is finally here. Who would of thought that a song that features Rick Ross, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj, it would be Nicki Minaj that outshine everyone? She kills it plus she is nice to look at. I'm now a fan. As the unfinished version has been out for several months, we now have our hands on the official video for Kanye West’s “Monster” Complete with a non misogynistic warning beforehands, the video captures the most gorgeous, upscale monsters I’ve ever seen. It being a Ye’ video, there are tons of hot, motionless models,  and expensive wardrobes. Oh, and of course, we have Nicki Minaj losing her shit. I was actually a bit scared of her after this. Kanye's "Monster" video was released several months ago, then pulled after 'Ye blamed MTV and the man for not accepting its greatness. And now the same video's back and appears to be the same one that was initially removed. While Kanye will invoke the word "art" while describing it, the clip remains much ado about nothing, incorporating a bunch of weird models and loose references horror flicks. Ross is sitting again . Jay is the only one who noticeably doesn't take part in the video's ghoulish acts. And Nicki secures having the best visual interpenetration [...]

A leaked version of Kanye West 's "Monster" video hit the web last New Years Eve Eve and was immediately immersed in controversy for what Change.org referred to as "harmful messages which glamorize misogyny and brutalize women." Now, some six months later, Yeezy has finally offered a finished version of the Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj-featuring clip, this one with a pre-video warning that strongly emphasizing its value as an art piece only. This leaked ages ago (in a very low, somewhat auto-tuned quality), but wasn’t properly out up until now: the video for Kanye West ’s Monster . It features Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver), Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and Rick Ross and is easily one of my favorite tracks of last year (Nicki’s bit in particular, guilty pleasure etc.).
