Chance the Rapper isn't the only Chicago upstart with a new mixtape out today . Rockie Fresh turned 22 years old earlier this month, and to mark the occasion he's offered up a brand new mixtape. Aptly titled T he Birthday Tape , the seven-track effort features Maybach Music Group members Rick Ross and Gundplay, along with production by TNGHT's Lunice, Dot Da Genius, and more. Stream/download below.

Rockie Fresh is a 22-year-old rap prodigy hailing from Chicago, currently signed to Rock Ross' Maybach Music Group. His swagger, clever wordplay, and love of fast food remind me a lot of another Chicago native, and apparently they dig the same producers - take a listen to "Panera Bread", featuring Ross, produced by TNGHT' s Lunice . Look out for Rockie's new mixtape, Electric Highway , due out next week.

It seems that Aubrey Graham is saying "Fuck School" in 2013. Just days after partaking in an entertaining "tell-all" interview with YN's Elliot Wilson, Drake made good on his promise releasing two songs for this week. The first, originally slated as the "Started From The Bottom" remix, is entitled "No New Friends". As what he did with 20112s stellar "I'm On One" , he gives the track to DJ Khaled with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne joining the fray (and an awesome cameo by Future in the end). Drake is as vicious as ever, hitting witty one-liners [...]

Drake promised two new songs this week and here's the first one: "No New Friends" is the latest star-studded collaboration from DJ Khaled , featuring Drizzy alongside Rick Ross and Lil Wayne . It was originally intended to be the remix for Drake's "Started From the Bottom" , but he ultimately decided to hand it over to Khaled for his forthcoming album, Suffering From Success . In turn, Khaled gave the track into its own mini movie, featuring cameos from Drake, Timbaland, and others. Check it out below.

I would put a pretty hefty wager on the prediction that you can walk into any strip club in a couple days and hear this song echoing throughout the poles. It's the soothing panty-dropping vocals from John Legend combined with the powerful rhymes of Rick Ross . There's no way this doesn't belong on a strip club playlist, making woman flock to the stage and get rained on by Washington's. You know...? But really, John Legend is a G.O.O.D. goddamn musician and reminds us of that with his newest release Who Do [...]

The one and only John Legend just released a new original track with none other than MMG front man Rick Ross . With a classic sample from Jean Knight's Mr. Big Stuff, Who Do We Think We Are is a classic R&B track with some low tempo Ross raps that are not only complimentary but bring the track to the next level. Check out both Who Do We Think We Are & Mr. Big Stuff below and stay tuned for more from Mr. Legend and his upcoming album " Love in the Future [...]

Personally one of my favorite Rihanna tracks Pour It Up , produced by Mike Will Made It, was just given a SERIOUS face lift. With complimentary versus from Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J, & T.I., the track goes from a new-school Rihanna track to a Hip-Hop banger... leave your thoughts below.

This is the RIHmix! Rihanna 's stripclub anthem, "Pour It Up," just got a hip-hip heavyweight makeover thanks to its newly-released remix. The Mike WiLL Made It -produced jam, on which RiRi boasts about her stacks and her flyness, features equally boastful verses by Rick Ross, T.I., Young Jeezy and Juicy J . Yeah that's right you read that SEO title right, the song you have invested into learning more about has 11 rappers on one track (including unlisted HS87 artists). When Hit-Boy puts together a posse cut I mean HE PUTS TOGETHER A POSSE CUT. For his upcoming label compilation album, the producer/rapper is pushing limits both instrumentally and lyrically. Today we get a sneak peak off the upcoming album with a song Hit-Boy has rightfully titled Cypher. I don't think there's too people in the game right now that have the balls [...]

The title of this post does this track no justice, it should read -Legendary Artists- but I just didn't have the balls to do it So here is the list of features; Kent M$NEY, Audio Push, B Mac The Queen, SchoolBoy Q, Casey Veggies, Xzibit, Rick Ross, Method Man, Red Man & Reakwon. After soundtracking last year's heart-warming Wreck-It Ralph , dubstep lord and savior Skrillex turns his attention to more R-rated fare with a soundtrack to Harmony Korine's new film Spring Breakers . Co-composed by Cliff Martinez ( Drive , Traffic ), the soundtrack features a dozen or so new songs by the EDM superstar, marking his first material since since January's Leaving EP. Among Skrillex's contrbutions are the chipper "Rise and Shine Little Btch", the glitchy "With You, Friends (Long Drive)", and the surprisingly [...]

Despite branching off from his Odd Future buddies, Casey Veggies still impresses us with almost ever track he puts out. This time he’s back with another collaboration effort with MMG newcomer Rockie Fresh . “Energy” is a head banging, get groovy track that showcases both emcee’s unique traits as well as their great chemistry exhibited in their past work. Props to Uncle Dave for the beat — definitely looking forward to hearing more from this guy.

I said godDAMN this track is hard as FUHCK. Spitta aka Hot Spitta aka Spitta Andretti aka Curren$y got Wiz Khalifa and Rick Ross to hop in the booth for one of the songs of his upcoming New Jet City mixtape. The project will be Curren$y's EIGHTEENTH tape (yes, as in he's made seventeen mixtapes prior to this) and is to be released February 3rd. As for this gem, the collabo is titled Choosin and produced by Lex Luger, who you might remember produced H.A.M. by [...]

Pusha T , one-half of the Clipse turned G.O.O.D. Music solo extraordinaire, is preceding the release of his debut solo album with the release of his debut solo mixtape, Wrath of Caine . The 11-track effort includes a bunch of tracks that have already leaked ( "Blocka" , "Only You Can Tell It" featuring Wale , and "Millions" featuring Rick Ross and produced by Kanye West ), alongside ones that haven't - like The Neptunes-produced "Revolution" and the French Montana-aided "Doesn't Matter". Here's what Pusha had to say about the mixtape: [...]

After posing in a mink coat while holding a baby leopard , rap kingpin Rick Ross has done plenty to prove his Bawse status. But as a reminder to anyone who may doubt him and Coco (that's the leopard's name, probably), Ross has released "Box Chevy", the first track off his upcoming sixth studio album, Mastermind . With D. Rich providing the rattle of Trap music bass (not to mention the a wesome sample of Morgan Freeman's crack speech from Lean on Me ), Ross puts would-be usurpers in [...]

MMG newcomer Rockie Fresh teamed up with his BAWSE Rick Ross and Nipsey Hussle to give fans a taste of Rockie's upcoming mixtape Electric Highway. Produced by B oi-1da and The Maven Boys the track is titled Life Long and shows how Rock can spit side by side with top talent while riding the beat harder than Twitter Nation is riding Manti Te'o right now. But for real bruh bruh, you didn't know your internet trick ceased to exist? Come ooooon maaaaaan, we can see the bullshit [...]
