Apparently God Forgives, I Don't , the forthcoming album from Rick Ross leaked its way onto the internet earlier today a little ahead of schedule. So in an effort to do a little damage control Def Jam released a couple of the tracks themselves in order to hold people off until the album's official release. With the release of God Forgives I Don't less than a month away, Rick Ross has unveiled the album's third single. While the previous two offerings came in the form of collaborations ( "Touch’N You” feat. Usher and "So Sophisticated" feat. Meek Mill) , "Hold Me Back" finds the Bawse enthusiastically solo, triumphantly declaring to the sound of chimes that "these n***as won't hold me back". Repetitive, sure; but applaud the guy for taking a stand. DJ Khaled is prepping his new album Kiss The Ring, and in his preparation he managed to snag the two hottest artists in the game, Ross ad Kanye. I still don't understand what exactly Khaled does to claim releasing his own album, but I don't think I ever will. Either way Hit-boy killed this beat, and this is a banger, something Khaled does know something about.
