Toronto's finest R&B exports, Abel Tesfaye and Aubrey Drake Graham, come together to bring us this industriously dreamy lament to groupie perseverance. Look out for this one on Drake's forthcoming release " Take Care " which also features an appearance from UK notable, Jamie xx , on the album's title track. Take Care (Prod. by Jamie xx) - Drake feat. Rihanna Crew Love - Drake feat. The Weeknd [recommended] And here's a bonus track off the album featuring both supplementary artists aforementioned: [...]

“ Thank Me Later was a rushed album. I didn’t get to take the time that I wanted to on that record… that’s why my new album is called Take Care , because I get to take my time this go-round.” This statement, made by Aubrey Drake Graham back in January 2011 , finds the most successful rapper in the world since Kanye West expressing dissatisfaction with a disc that Rolling Stone and Complex named the [...]

Tweet Listen to "You Da One" by Rihanna below, from her album "Talk That Talk" . We're now only a week or so from the release of Rihanna's new album "Talk That Talk" and in anticipation for the release there are a whole host of interviews, reviews, song-snippets and album leaks doing the rounds. A few days ago we had news of [...]
The new Drake album Take Care leaked a few days ago so I'm late to the party, but I just had to do a post on the title track Take Care that features Rihanna . I know that you're thinking Drake is not our usual forte, but with a track produced by Jamie XX featuring the lovely Rihanna , he finds himself firmly in Hard Candy territory! The track samples [...]

Just one year after releasing the sizzling "What's My Name?" in October of 2010, Drake and Rihanna have teamed up once again for another incredible collaboration: "Take Care," the Jamie Smith ( The XX )-produced lead single off of Drake's upcoming studio album of the same name. Though his most popular tunes tend to be big, bossy rap tracks like "Over" and "Headlines," Drake truly proves himself a true innovator with his unique brand of spook-R&B, including the masterfully moody "Marvin's Room" from earlier this year (which resulted in JoJo 's [...]

Drakes sophomore album Take Care leaked late Sunday night, one week before it's November 15th release date. The title track 'Take Care' was produced by Jamie xx and features an ongoing sample of his Gil Scott Heron collaboration I'll Take Care Of U . I'm such a fan of the original track that I welcome this into my collection. Drake's Take Care features collaboration with Nicki Minaj, Jamie xx, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, Stevie Wonder as well as fellow Canadians The Weeknd and Chantal Kreviazuk.

Set to release the follow up to last year's Thank Me Later LP with this month's Take Care , the title-track from Drake's upcoming record got given it's radio introduction recently. Drawing heavily from Jamie xx's brilliant remix of Gil Scott-Heron's I'll Take Care of U and featuring the current go-to girl Rihanna, Take Care is an interesting melting-pot of noise that showcases just how eclectic modern pop music is becoming. Rihanna purrs as normal, Jamie xx's spirit keeps things minimal and Drake does his thing. Enjoy.

Drake's new album 'Take Care' is almost upon us being released November 15th. It apparently got leaked a couple of hours ago and to be honest I do not care much for it. I always found Drake to be a talented artist but have been disappointed with most of his other releases since his mixtape (maybe the hype was too high). Add to that some collaborations with Rihanna and I almost want to lay on the corner of my room in the fetal position. However, in all fairness, music is subjective and I am posting this to see the reaction. [...]

A full year after Rihanna and Drake began burning up the airwaves with their 2010 chart-topping hit "What's My Name" , their latest pair-up, the title track from Drake's sophomore LP Take Care (out November 15), has found its way online — along with the rest of the album! The entire track is built around a sample of Jamie xx's remix of Gil Scott Heron's "I'll Take Care Of U', off Heron's remix album We're New Here . Hear it below! We're loving Rihanna's subtle [...]
The internet almost exploded last night with certain news about the newfound availability of Drake's sophomore album Take Care. It started when Canadian radio played two highly anticipated cuts off the project. Ears were given a first listen to the Jamie xx-produced track "Take Care", which features help from Rihanna, as well as The Weeknd-assisted "Crew Love". Both are enormous tracks, that lead me to believe the first week numbers for Take Care might be bigger than we all think. In fact, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Drake will sell more copies of this album [...]

Normally, our Baker's Dozen feature is a supposedly monthly collection of tracks that we've had on repeat through the preceding four weeks. This month however, I've decided to do things slightly different and therefore this feature is my exclusively electronic list of thirteen tracks I couldn't live without right now but have yet to grace these pages. One I first heard today while others are a couple months old. Enjoy. Cooly G - Landscapes (ft. Simbad) Hyperdub's bright young thing Cooly G is back. Nods to Abeano for this one. [...]

Couple tracks for ya. The first track was premiered on Flow 93.5 yesterday and features Drake's bud The Weeknd. Second is the Rihanna featured fifth track which bears the same name as the album. Check out 'Crew Love' and 'Take Care' below. Drake ft. The Weeknd - Crew Love (radio rip) Drake ft. Rihanna - Take Care [...]

While the world eagerly awaits the release of Drake 's Take Care LP, more and more tracks seem to be sneaking online. First up we have the dope sounding "Crew Love" which came together with a little help from the smooth vocal tendencies of The Weeknd . The result is incredibly nice sounding track. Second up is the equally nice sounding, Rihanna featuring, "Take Care". The track also comes with the handy work of none other than a man that likes to keep himself busy during his every waking minute, Jamie [...]

All the leaking from Drake's new album, "Take Care," can only mean one thing. The release date is approaching faster than the demise of a Kardashian matrimony. 2011 is going to end with a bang with the new release with heavy hitters on Drizzy's new album. The Weeknd's contribution to the album is a track titled "Crew Love" that has a quiet loud beat that does an incredible job of setting the tone and paving the way for Drake's entrance. On "Take Care," Rihanna's hushed vocals layered over Jamie xx's signature production breathed new life into what [...]

Drake - Take Care Drake 's new album, Take Care , is due early next week and over the weekend a few new tracks made their way online as a bit of a teaser - you can listen to them below. First up, there's the album's title track, which features Rihanna and production from Jamie XX, based on his remix/collaboration with Gil Scott Heron, 'I'll Take Care Of U'. You can also stream 'Crew Love', a track that features the distinctive vocals of The Weeknd (he's also slated to appear on a number [...]

This might as well have been put together by a carefully constructed algorithm, designed for Maximum Hype Machine Impact. It's that pop star Rihanna , her off the telly and every Esquire ever, along with The Rapper Drake and The Coffee Table Musician It's Cool To Like Jamie XX . Plus an obligatory Gil Scott-Heron sample. Sigh.
