Hey, remember when  Rihanna  held a group of journalists hostage on a plane for a week traveling the world and it turned out to be a complete fiasco ? Of course! It was unforgettable. #UNFORGETTABLE and #UNALOPOGETIC. (Idolator had an editor on the plane, so feel free to refresh your memory with his sort-of grueling, Peabody-worthy coverage .) Stephen Colbert was the special guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night (February 22nd). The playful interview started off with a little pre-Oscars beef, where Fallon and Colbert exchanged Papyrus greeting cards with each other and opened at the count of 23. V Magazine produced a mini behind the scene's video of their Rihanna and Kate Moss shoot with Mario Testino. Not to take anything away from Testino's artistic direction, but someone who has never seen or touched a camera in their life could have created a hot ass photo shoot with these two. Considering that, I was expecting the "recap" video to be a little more in depth, I'm not complaining but I feel that it was a bit of a cop out. Y'All know we love us some Kate Nash, even though she has been on a downward spiral. This is probably the only listenable song on the next album. Jessie Ware releases a harrowing rendition of Rihanna's "Diamonds"

Over the weekend, our favorite glamazon brought his cover to the stage during a concert in Seoul. Adam's take on RiRi's Mikky Ekko -penned-and-featured ballad is a gorgeous one; his voice filled with raw emotion and dripping with passion. We have to ask again: Rih, Adam, can we make this duet happen, like, now?! [...]

For singers these days, you're nobody if you're not covering Rihanna . So naturally, Adam Lambert stepped up to the plate, taking on RiRi's hit "Stay" at a tour stop in Seoul, South Korea. This is certainly a bold choice in the wake of Vin Diesel 's sublime Valentine's Day rendition of the song. Some might even say you'd have to be crazy to cover "Stay" in the A.V. era (After Vin). The action hero uploaded a sad-town clip to YouTube last night of himself singing along to Rihanna 's emotional "Stay." And we're shockingly impressed. The dude damn neared killed us with his basseriffic tones, soaked in the melancholy of what could be.

Everyone already knows I think Jessie Ware is IT and luckily she stopped over at BBC Radio 1 to make this happen. Now, what kind of magic can Jessie Ware pull on a track I've only enjoyed in jest? Straight up sorcery. Jessie takes the Rihanna pop ballad and strips it down to it's bare bones. And it's not really a shocker that I like this cover better than the original. If anyone can revitalize Rihanna's ubiquitous pop anthem "Diamonds", it may just well be Jessie Ware , who took on her "favorite pop song of 20123 on BBC Radio 12s Live Lounge earlier today. The versatile, velvet-voiced UK star's take on Rihanna's 12th Billboard 100 chart-topper transforms the single into a softer, more heartfelt ballad. With reserved musical and vocal accompaniment that lets her singing shine through, this is a refreshing effort - affirming yet again that Jessie Ware can cover and do justice to more genres than many can do to just one.
