'Diamonds' combines that nice 80s electro sound with funk and lots disco cheese to great effect, with Janet Jackson providing the vocals. Its a really great track, which marked Alpert's return and got to nr one i think, i was. Very catchy at times and the Janet Jackson manages to go from from cheesey pop to funky street cred boppin'.
