Hippie Sabotage sent over this new beat tape EP today, and man I'm glad he did. Having done some production for Alex Wiley, look for him to hit the rounds with some Chicago emcees, and Kami De Chukwu might be next. But now everyone needs to hit the jump to hear these beats. Semi-reminiscent of Araabmuzik, this sound is heavy to say the least.

Portland, Oregon's James Winters must be a pretty big Beastie Boys fan. The film maker put his whole family to work on this "Sabotage" tribute video featuring his kids and nephew as a way to pay homage to MCA. Winters writes, "Worked on this with the wife, kids and our nephew over the past week to pay tribute to Adam "MCA" Yauch." The recent death of Adam "MCA" Yauch is something that hit most of us pretty hard here at Flavorpill, so we were happy to come across this wonderful tribute that Portland-based filmmaker James Winters shot with a group of kids over the weekend. While there's certainly no touching the original, we're fairly sure that Yauch would have approved of this remake of the "Sabotage" video, because really, what's not to love about a bunch of adorable children in ridiculous wigs and aviators?
