Photo by Ted Maider Most people who came to Sasquatch! camped in tents and RVs in either the more peaceful VIP camping section or the favela on the hill camping section. The herding, the terror in the eyes of lost souls, the cattle brands... Well, there might as well be cattle brands because, let's face it, as much as we all enjoy a multitude of bands playing incredible music in one of the world's most stunning outdoor venues, organizing ourselves on a mass scale just [...]

Stone’s set was 45 minutes of pure energy. He played all of the crowd favorites, including “Sleep”, “Satisfaction”, “Unaware”, and his wonderful version of Bob Marley’s classic “Is This Love”. The backing band sounded tighter than ever – they played three quarters of the set with no breaks, using pieces of classics like Stevie Wonder’s “Livin For The City” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” as [...]

If you recall, yesterday we ran day one and two of Nick Travers's three day excursion into the Pacific Northwest. Last we read, Travers was floored by performances from NIN and TV on the Radio, but wasn't too thrilled with Jane's Addiction's closing set. Let's see how day three unfolds... Night 3: After leaving Janes Addiction I definitely needed a beer, but it's hard to be determined to drink when you're so tired. Regardless of the ensuing parties nearby, I went to sleep early. Before I dozed off, I could [...]
