Gory new music video for "Trials of the Past" by the infamous London-based producer SBTRKT , don't watch it if you have a weak stomach since you will see body parts being dismembered in the visual. The single is featured on SBTRKT's self-titled masterpiece of an album which was released back in 2011 via Young Turks and is now available via iTunes .
This song was on SBTRKT's debut back in 2011 - and only now do we get a video. We're not sure if the director (Ross Anderson) was a little slow in getting the edit down or if it was just lost in the vaults. Either way it's great and we love every second of it.

SBTRKT may have released his debut album in early 2012, but the visual complements are still rolling in. The newest video for "Trials of the Past," was a collective effort from Young Turks (record label) and XL Recordings along with a few others. Check it out. "Generator, Northern Film & Media and Dustfarm teamed up with Young Turks and XL Recordings for 'Transmission' to present the stunning new music video for SBTKT's 'Trials of the Past'."

Here's the gruesome, new video for SBTRKT' s "Trials of the Past", where cyborgs are dismembered in a barbershop. It's super bloody and I feel bad for the guy who had to mop it all up after closing.

I was listening to Lauren Laverne's show on BBC 6 Music . I couldn't help but notice listening to this song called 110% by Jessie Ware . Not to be confused with "Jessie J". Here is a tidbit about her. South Londoner Jessie Ware is one of the most exciting vocalists to emerge from the UK underground. The last couple of years have seen the glamorous vocalist collaborating with some of the most respected producers on the electronic spectrum. Jessie caused waves [...]

Today, a surprising turn of events took place within the music blog circuit and the EDM community. Renowned Swedish house producer Avicii's follow-up single to last year's ubiquitous anthem "Levels" was named 'Best New Track' by the governing force in indie music, Pitchfork. With the exception of their recent Skrillex interview , this is the first time Pitchfork has favourably acknowledged "mainstream" electronica. While they were early supporters of electronic artists such as James Blake , SBTRKT , Grimes , and Rustie , up until now, Pitchfork has been quite ignorant towards the more accessible [...]

You can say Aaron Jerome has sort of been the 'man of the hour' in the electronic / future bass scene these days. Following a string of successful subdued dubstep-driven EP's and singles, the enigmatic London-based performer (who performs under the moniker SBTRKT , oftentimes masked) has dropped his self-titled full-length to much acclaim. Watch the music video for his latest single "Pharaohs," which features Roses Gabor on vocals.
