While Evan Dando may be a prime slacker as casual as an army of devout ATP aficionados, to a full house at the Empire he unplugs intermittently the lethargic aesthetic to reveal an inner romantic purely (and at times wonderfully puerilely) splurging contorted impressions of human affection and still-confounding metaphor. Having winged their way to prominence with a Gorillaz collaboration by the name of Empire Ants, for Little Dragon to headline Shepherd's Bush Empire feels like the completion of a full circle that's seen them make tracks around the globe akin to the aforementioned insects imprinting faint trails on the slopes of vertiginous anthills. Ben Howard has announced that he'll now be playing the Shepherds Bush Empire on February 23rd, as well as the previously-announced show on the 24th February.
