Sigur Rós released a bizarre new video for Voltari track Ég Anda . The video features a gentleman choking and gives step-by-step instructions on how to give the Heimlich maneuver and was directed by Ragnar Kjartansson. The clip is the first of a series of visual companions for the album from various directors, including John Cameron Mitchell, photographer/director Ryan McGinley, Ramin Bahrani, Alma Har'el, Clare Langan, and more. Sigur Rós released the first song, Ekki Múkk , from their upcoming 6th studio album titled Valtari . The album title means Steamroller in English and was produced by frontman Jónsi, along with collaborator Alex Somers. According to bassist Georg Hólm, “The music kind of just rolls over you. Egentlig kunne man måske fristes lidt til at sige, at Sigur Rós ikke er det nemmeste band at remixe, men det har Them Jeans nu alligevel klaret meget flot. Resultatet, som han selv kalder et "dance remix", er blevet et lettere dansabelt track, hvor Jónsi's drømmende vokal kæmper en lidt svær kamp mod det elektroniske beat.
