Like many musicians in Iceland, she splits her time among a number of bands/projects, but of late has come to prefer the process of working solo, where she maintains all of the creative control. The pair just released "Þerney (One Thing)", the first single off their upcoming sophomore album, appropriately titled, Twosomeness . A strong, passionate track from the new Defense Family 73, which was recorded in Iceland at a studio owned by Sigur Ros, and the session was even engineered by the band's frontman, Jón Þór Birgisson.
