As previously reported, Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi has been tapped to soundtrack Cameron Crowe's latest film We Bought A Zoo . With the film hitting theatres on December 23rd, an issued press release now confirms that soundtrack's release date: December 13th via Columbia Records. The press release also has a few additional details about the soundtrack's contents. Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi is set to score the forthcoming film, We Bought A Zoo . The film was written and is set to directed by Cameron Crowe who has tapped Jónsi for the films score. The movie is set to star Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson and will revolve around a single father who moves his family to the countryside to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo. The film is due for release in December 2011.
