She took her name from a character in Wes Anderson 's film Rushmore , which is about an eccentric teenage schoolboy falling in love with his teacher. Her vocals are soft, sultry, deep but at the same time poppy enough to grab the attention of the mass. This is an obvious one. Still, many people are surprised that the new Beyonce single "Run The World (Girls)" hasn't catapulted itself into the number one spot on iTunes. It's currently sitting at a measly number 24 on the chart. Still, who thought that "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" would amount to anything? Imagine the song without the video?
