Diplo will never fail. Taking time off "mainstream" production for celebrity singers like Santogold and Usher, Diplo has fun with his favorite genre. However, as soon as you realize that 1) the original sounds like a metal song, and 2) diplo is a magician, you'll understand how truly incredible this remix is. Diplo easily transforms the metal message into a dark and haunting electro extravaganza with organ like synthesizers and popping retro notes. [...]

Diplo is giving away a free download of his remix of "Demons," a previously heavy-metal track from Sleigh Bells. He takes the dark and chilling vibe from the original and electrifies it using deep bass and dubby injections. The result is a spooky track that remains as grungy as the head-banging original, but as quirky as any Diplo production. If this gloomy blend sounds like your thing, head to Diplo's SoundCloud to claim your copy of the remix. Related: diplo , free download

It's not the most pleasant listening experience, but certainly trumps the original's now-boring gimmick rapidly staggered guitar riff samples.
