After a brief silent spell, Brooklyn noise pop enthusiasts/ blog darlings Sleigh Bells have returned with new single "Born To Lose", an early preview of their February-due sophomore release Reign of Terror that finds the duo of Derek E. Miller and Alexis Krauss keeping their promise to continue to batter our brains in with more of their distortion-heavy dreaminess. Blaring out the gate with a densely layered wall of "rawk" that fills up every inch of available air space with huger-than-huge fuzzed-out electric guitar riffs, the insistent pummel of rat-a-tat drums and old school [...]

Tweet Listen to "Born To Lose" below, the new song from Sleigh Bells ' upcoming album "Reign Of Terror" . When Sleigh Bells , my band and album of 2010, dropped the teaser trailer for their upcoming album I was beyond excited. Whilst criticised for being unlistenable due to their cacophonous wall of noise that's almost over-powering and was through their entire debut album, I couldn't get enough of it. [...]

Noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells have sent the blogosphere wild with anticipation following the release of a teaser for their next album, 'Reign Of Terror'. The clip features shots of the band's hedonism on tour with glamorous singer Alexis Krauss in a military uniform. A different approach to their debut 'Treats', the teaser is soundtracked with a more industrial and heavier sound. Guitarist Derek Miller has hinted at 'Reign Of Terror' being released in early 2012, but I'm not sure the world can wait that long to hear from this incredible act.
Last night was a pretty exciting night for music. Our buddies over at 107.7 The End ran across a sweet video teaser for Sleigh Bells sophomore album Reign of Terror, the follow up to their incredible 2010 debut album Treats . Check it out above.

Sleigh Bells fuzzed-out noise pop proved rather popular in 2010 with the release of the band's debut LP, Treats . For a sound so heavily rooted in a particular aesthetic, I was curious to see where they'd go next. The duo of Derek E. Miller and Alexis Krauss just shared a video teasing us with a sneak peek at their new album, due early next year. The sophomore effort will be entitled Reign of Terror . Check out the teaser video below. Sweet.

Photo by Philip Cosores Well, as the title of this story suggests, there is not a whole lot of information to this story. Sleigh Bells were already known to be working on a new album for an early 2012 release , and it appears to be about ready. Early this morning, the chaotic duo unveiled a new website, http://reignofterror.tv , and on it is a short teaser video that offers little concrete information besides the new album title, Reign Of Terror (duh). Check out the video below and we'll keep you [...]

The pun-possibilities are endless here, but let's just get straight to the point: Sleigh Bells are back with a major announcement, just in time for the holidays! The album's title, Reign of Terror , is the only thing revealed in this sleek teaser clip (which [...]
