With all the hype surrounding the new Sleigh Bells album they kept it building with a visit to Saturday Night Live on which they performed not one, but two tracks for our enjoyment. A day after broadcasting their sold out NYC T5 show on YouTube, Sleigh Bells brought their Marshall stacks and tourist guitarist Jason Boyer to the considerably more intimate SNL studios across town. They played Reign Of Terror 's raucous first single "Comeback Kid" and No Doubt-y ballad "End Of The Line" and you can watch both below. Haters gonna hate, I suppose. If this video of Sleigh Bells performing on SNL isn't pulled off YouTube quickly, expect to see the comments section flooded with "What is this noise? The girl can't sing in key!" comments (those comments are already appearing for the "Comeback Kid" official video). The more I hear the song, the more I like it but am still not completely sold on Sleigh Bells.

The SLEIGH BELLS took to the SNL HQs last PM to perform a coupla mp3s, I suspect mosta America didn't quite get it, and tbh I also kinda don't too. One thang this American noise-popping duo does give me is revived hope that I too might have a music career and be on Saturday Night Live one day.

Saturday Night Live continued its indie streak last night, welcoming Mom + Pop Records' own Sleigh Bells to the program. Showcasing their sophomore LP Reign of Terror , the Brooklyn duo punched out "Comeback Kid” and “End of the Line”. The episode also featured a skit where various celebrities visited Jay-Z and Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy Carter, including Prince, Nicki Minaj, and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, who was impersonated by Justin Timberlake. The Brooklyn duo make their Saturday Night Live debut.

With Sleigh Bells teasing a few songs from their forthcoming LP Reign of Terror the duo have now been booked for Saturday Night Live! The show will air on the 18th of February and they'll perform lead single " Comeback Kid " and the album track "End of the Line". As a result of the booking they have had to reschedule two tour dates: the February 16 show in Washington which is now set for March 26th and the February 18 show in Toronto have been rescheduled for March [...]

Sleigh Bells' camp has confirmed that the duo will be the musical guest on the 2/18 episode of Saturday Night Live , where they'll play Reign Of Terror cuts "End Of The Line" and " Comeback Kid ." Former SNL castmember and Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph hosts, which is also pretty awesome. More looks for Sleigh Bells forthcoming - they cover the issue of SPIN on stands 2/28. SNL is going to get loud on February 18th. As Pitchfork reports, Sleigh Bells will serve as the musical guests that night, appearing alongside host Maya Rudolph. For their part, Sleigh Bells will showcase two tracks off their upcoming sophomore album  Reign of Terror : "Comeback Kid" and "End of the Line".
