Digo, hace exactamente un año desde que tuvimos noticias sobre lo que ocurria con Sleigh Bells aunque en esos momentos, todavia era informacion que venia rodeando a su excelente album debut "Treats" pero ahora, parece que durante este año realmente se pusieron a trabajar en su segundo album de estudio el cual se espera que obviamente salga en cualquier momento de 2012. Here it is, the opening salvo to Sleigh Bells' second LP in their ongoing campaign to punish earplugs and epileptics worldwide. With Treats , Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller bottled the visceral crush of in-the-red guitars and distorto-beats, the punk/hop snarl and playground pop coos that brought them the BTW ; earlier this year, they'd promised a followup with an "immense" sound that couldn't be cast off as merely "party" music. So Sleigh Bells apparently have plans to release their second album which will be called Reign of Terror sometime in 2012. Though any other info is pretty scarce at the moment, you can take a look at the recent teaser trailer the band released above.

Sleigh Bells fuzzed-out noise pop proved rather popular in 2010 with the release of the band's debut LP, Treats . For a sound so heavily rooted in a particular aesthetic, I was curious to see where they'd go next. The duo of Derek E. Miller and Alexis Krauss just shared a video teasing us with a sneak peek at their new album, due early next year. The sophomore effort will be entitled Reign of Terror .
