Austin Donohue and Shy Kedmi have released an album of subtly wondrous beauty that recalls the lighter, wistful side of Thom Yorke and Jonsi.
These days, every famous person is friends with every other famous person, and we get stark and mostly-inexplicable reminders of that every day. So here's today's: On Saturday night, at a benefit show in New York, St. Vincent's Annie Clark and Sleigh Bells' Alexis Krauss joined Cyndi Lauper onstage to sing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," while Rosie O'Donnell played a Sheila E-looking stand-up drum kit. Wait, it gets better. On stage along with St. Vincent 's Annie Clark and Sleigh Bells ' Alexis Krauss are none other than Rosie O'Donnell (on percussion) and the woman behind the 802s hit herself, Cyndi Lauper. This performance was from a benefit concert last night, which was a part of Lauper's True Colors Fund . The purpose of the charity is to help homeless LGBT youth. Watch the performance below.

We've seen Victoria's Secret use M832s " Midnight City " and Rhye's " Open ," for their last couple commercials, and they keep it moving by letting Sleigh Bells ' "Crush" be the soundtrack to their latest ad. Beautiful, as always.

Sleigh Bells were one of the bands featured on tonight's Anthony Bourdains "No Reservations." Check out the video below: ...

Happy September: ► If there's one song I want to hear at FYF Fest , it's F*cked Up's "Queen of Hearts." The Canadian rockers are No. 1 on my festival hit list, followed by, in order of urgency, M83, Redd Kross, Two Gallants, Cloud Nothings, Quicksand, the Vaselines, the Soft Pack, FIDLAR, Nite Jewel and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Refused, James Blake, Warpaint, the Orwells, Future Islands, Tycho and A.A. Bondy are playing too — single-day tickets are available ($60) at L.A. State Historic Park. Let's have a weekend, shall we?

"End Of Time" is the latest video from Sleigh Bells' new album Reign Of Terror , directed by the group's Derek Miller & Gregory Kohn. In the clip, Derek 7 Alexis ride BMX bikes through the 'Burbs, but there's something more sinister going on. Reminds me of Donnie Darko. Video: Sleigh Bells - "End Of Time" |

Sleigh Bells - “End Of The Line”

When I was younger I used to own a black huffy trick bike with front pegs that had yellow spokes. Needless to say I was the coolest kid in the cul-de-sac and everyone wanted to race me just to say that they were equally as cool as me. But having a matching electric guitar that you strap to your back while cruising on your bike, well that is just a whole other level of cool that I couldn't even compete with. And that is why Derek in Sleigh Bells new video for "End Of The Line" wins [...]

Here's the latest set of visuals from Sleigh Bells ' Reign Of Terror . The description: "Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss ride BMX bikes in this melancholy clip." Fair enough. Directed by Derek Miller and Gregory Kohn.
Pedro Lima [...]
