Building a tradition established in 2008, Nike Basketball debuts the new 2013 edition of the Hyperdunk. As the model continues to evolve, designer Peter Fogg stuck with the "less is more" mantra while implementing three of the Swoosh's key basketball technologies: Dynamic Flywire, Hyperfuse construction and Lunarlon cushioning. The Hyperdunk 2013 will be available Saturday, July 20th, 2013 online and at select NSW retailers.

Any Bo Jackson trainer by Nike usually gets my money by default. Nostalgia and style always take over and another pair is added to the pile. Then there's the latest release, the Air Trainer Max '91 QS "Raiders," which pays homage to the two-sport star and gives a hat tip to his former football squad as well. With several sneakers possibly set to release on May 25th, none gets the crowd more amped than the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe.” The new release stays true to the old school form, retaining the Nike Air on the tongue and Jordan wings on the ankle. Of Nike Basketball's big three sig sneakers, I'm crowning the Kobe 8 as this year's top dog. That's not to say the LBJ 10 or the KD V aren't dope, but, no matter if we're talking comfort or colorways, the Kobe model is the one to cop. Nike nailed it with the new "Mercurial" Kobe 8. Kobe's models have been styled after soccer cleats since the Zoom Kobe V. Now, the connection draws even closer as this version, noted as the Zoom Kobe 8 System MC, clashes with the Mercurial Vapor cleat. The large Swoosh across the toebox, the Nike along the medial side along with the bold colors (here Red Plum/Electric Green-Pink Flash) make these a must-have of future releases. [...]

These "Carp" Insta Pump Furys are strikingly awesome, which isn't a phrase I typically say in reference to Reebok. Credit where credit is due, the design and color placement give them a busy but beautiful look and the Insta Pump has always been a nostalgic favorite for years. Now most of you wont remember the OG Nike Presto because either you were too young or you were old enough but you didnt appreciate its genius and you just wanted to wear All Stars like your bummy friends. I would've put "Cop" in the title like we normally do but I'm still on the fence with the new Nike Air Max Motion. On one hand, they look almost awkward without the Swoosh, but that's also what makes them dope, too. They're billed as a premium product by Nike Sportswear in their "Special Projects" range and, as such, they skip the usual Hyperfuse upper of the AM13 and opt for a laser-perforated leather with a reflective underlay while retaining the 360 Max Air unit and Dynamic Flywire of this year's top model.
