Who: Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on the main stage. In 3 or Fewer Words: All-star show. Memorable Because: There were rumors that Eminem would show up and that turned out to be true. But what most people didn't know is that Dre and Snoop would be raising the dead, exactly one week after Easter. Thrilling and shocking fans, 2Pac made a special appearance. Although just a hologram (but a really solid hologram), all those people out there claiming the rapper had just been in hiding all this time [...]

Wow.. last night was truly epic. I hope you were streaming the first weekend of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival over the past few days, or one of the lucky 100,000 that got to attend the California festival. This weekend had so many different sides of the music world it was awesome. It all ended with a truly legendary performance from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and they brought out some huge guests. They brought out Wiz Khalfia, Eminem, 50 Cent, Warren G, Kendrick Lamar all for there collaborations with each of the artists. [...]

There's not really much point me saying much about Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg's performance at Cochella earlier today. This is definitely a case where it's best to let the pictures do the talking. Or holograms, as the case may be. So watch on below as the good Doctor and the Big Boss Dogg burn through a ton of classic tunes backed by a tight band and some questionable haircuts (I see you, Snoop). Oh, it's not just a two man show, mind you. Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa all [...]

The lineup set-times is finally available for Coachella. All I can say is, FML. There are at least 5 very tough decisions to make. I'm guessing The Little One will be making us see At The Drive-In which makes seeing Dr. Dre & Snoop Dog an easy thing, since they are both at the same stage. At least a few things in this lineup worked out. Snoop and [...]

It's probably no surprise that where Dr. Dre goes, Eminem follows, but we're excited by this news anyway: The Real Slim Shady will appear at the 2012 edition of Coachella alongside his frequent collaborator Dr. Dre during his co-headlining set with Snoop Dogg on each Sunday night of the two-weekend fest. According to a post on Warren G's website, "The good doctor will perform with all times friends Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Warren G & Eminem. Kendrick Lamar [...]

In the mortal words of Lil' Wayne, sorry for the wait! Day and a half late, but it's worth the wait cause the songs this week were SICKKK, one of the best weeks in recent memory. 1. "I'm On 2.03 - Trae Tha Truth feat. a bunch of good rappers. Shared this one midweek because it was as noteworthy as it gets. Great beat reused from Trae's first "I'm On" but even more rappers come through with great verses. Memorable track with something for everyone. Trae Tha Truth feat. Big K.R.I.T., Jadakiss, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, [...]

I know this is up for debate, but Coachella has proven itself as the music festival of music festivals here in the United States, and this year they are going to try and kill it for two weekends. To begin the hype, the festival has announced their massive lineup, which spans across hip-hop, indie rock, and house. Oh, did I mention house? They have just about every big named cornball DJ on here, including Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Afrojack, Girl Talk, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and more-so you can be sure to see some kids spinning their little [...]

I know, I'm a little late, but here's Terrace Martin's newest released album titled Locke High 2. Just bought it on iTunes, and this is another classic album by this artist. The way he incorporates his horn skills into his beats is amazing. Terrace Martin - Reasons for Seasons (feat. Game - The R.E.D. Album Interscope: 2011 In recent months the rap game has seen the release of the yearâs big blockbuster type albums. Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne  arrived to overwhelmingly positive reception. The Carter IV  dropped, smashed on the charts, and is pretty much painful to listen all the way through. Now, the almost perpetually delayed The R.E.D. Album from Game is here, and in terms of success, it finds itself somewhere in between WTT and Carter [...]

A very dope shot from Kendrick's show a few weeks ago when his peers knighting him as the leader of the West . In the original video, his tears weren't visible. Here, we see the tears and how much the moment means in so many other ways as well. Previously: Snoop Dogg Passes The Torch To Kendrick Lamar

You know that friend who always tags along when you go out, and does his best to fit in by copying whatever the cool kids in the group do? If your social clique was made up of the most famous rappers in the world, then that friend is Game. Ever since his debut album dropped in 2005, heâs been notorious for name-dropping and an overreliance on guest artists. And in that sense, The R.E.D. Album is the disc that heâs always been destined to make. Averaging a guest spot per track, The R.E.D. [...]

Watching Kendrick Lamar and Game tear through The R.E.D. Album's "My City" is only half of the highlight here. If you skip to the 4:00 mark, Snoop Dogg approaches the stage and proceeds to pass the proverbial torch to Kendrick in front of the hometown L.A. crowd. The last time I remember an OG publicly handing over the crown to a young bull was when Scarface told T.I. he could hold the "King Of The South" title on Down With The King . Putting aside missteps in [...]
At a recent L.A show, Kendrick Lamar got praised by all of Los Angeles, including Snoop Dogg, The Game, and Dr. Dre. The torch has officially been passed, and it is time for Kendrick to put the West Coast on his back. Shouts out to the YouTube channel 'dudegotbars' for posting this historic moment.
