Indie Babe of The Week French bombshell Soko , has released her new single, "First Love Never Dies", from her upcoming record, I Thought I Was An Alien . In the clip, we get the literal meaning of the title and see young children, who are presumably in love, look as sad as can be. The emotional heights of the track soar thanks to the clip, as this doomed young love will somehow always linger on in our minds.

Last year we got to see a video from SoKo created with the legendary Spike Jonze but that was way back in November, today comes an adorable song and video for a track titled "First Love Never Die". The vintage looking footage sees two children playing around in the sandy surroundings accompanying the song more than adequately. It was shot last August on a Ranch in Nevada! The long awaited debut album I Thought I Was An Alien , is set to hit stores on the 20th of February.

This charming, woozy little daydream of a song, the title track from French singer Soko's debut album, is the musical equivalent of a tiny patch of blue sky on a cold, grey day. Haunted by birdsong and ethereal slide guitar, its combination of clever production and deceptively simple songwriting enable it to be both lush and lo-fi at the same time, which shouldn't really work but does.
