Chicago frenetic and just legal The Orwells have announced the release of thier new Other Voices EP June 25th on East End/ Canvasback (with a cassette on Burger Records). AELIUS is the musical combination of London lads Martin Roberts and Lee Tyler. The utilize both electronic and more organic sounds creating music that builds slowly only to surge at all the right moments. They are prepping for an EP release later this year, but have been releasing loose singles in the meantime. "Echoes" is their latest offering and it brings to mind the best moments of M83 with the skying sounds that occur throughout. Sweden's NONONO last impressed a month back with their infectious pop song "Pumpin' Blood," now we get a proper studio version of "Down Under." We originally heard the yearning cut earlier this year in acoustic form in a performance video the band did. They continue to impress and impress. Expect a proper release later this year, in the meantime enjoy.
