Jde o druhý singl z výborného alba Sweet Heart Sweet Life vydaného letos v dubnu. Režisér Vincent Haycock zachytil příběh mladé dívky na útěku z domova, která ujíždí na motorce svého táty. Hlavní roly dívky si zahrála kaskadérská špička Chesca Miles z Anglie. Video bylo nátáčeno v Německu nedaleko hranic s Polskem mezi skutečnými kaskadéry. Štáb se také potýkal s německou policií. The video for Spiritualized's "Little Girl" is nowhere near as long as the previous music video the band dropped, but that doesn't mean it's less cinematic. Actually, a lot like the video for "Hey Jane," the vid seems to focus in on one person who seems to live a turbulent life. They hang on the fringe, but have a good heart and conscious. British space-rock group Spiritualized has released the video for “Little Girl,” the second single from its seventh studio album, Sweet Heart Sweet Light . The video, directed by Vincent Haycock, is a dysfunctional, post-Soviet coming-of-age story set in former East Germany. Our heroine, desperate to escape her depressing ex-commie life, steals her father’s money and motorcycle and takes to the road. Said road is rocky with the vices that come with freedom, and the video is filled with dangerous (and wildly impressive) motorcycle stunts. The new video for Spritualized 's track "Little Girl" was directed by Vincent Haycock. It "follows the story of a young female runaway who steals her dad's money and motorcycle to escape the god-forsaken, post soviet demise small town in which she lives." It was shot in location and features some of the best German stunt riders around. Seriously it's pretty impressive. Spiritualized released a Vincent Haycock-directed video for Little Girl , the latest single from one of the year's best albums, Sweet Heart Sweet Light . The clip "follows the story of a young female runaway who steals her dad's money and motorcycle to escape the god-forsaken, post-Soviet demise small town in which she lives."
