What joy we festival lovers received today! Aye, the line-ups for two of the best festivals of the summer, Sasquatch and Primavera Sound, were released, and are they ever a gift from the festival deities on high. Both are absolutely stuffed with bands that we love and have been geeking out over for months if not years. The annual Sasquatch festival, definitely a festival that I need to attend in the very near future, announced a killer line up for this year's installment. Recently solo Jack White, along with Beck and Bon Iver, will be headlining the George, WA based three-day event. Also leading the way are Pretty Lights, Tenacious D, The Shins, Girl Talk, St. Vincent, Feist, and Silversun Pickups. But that's not all who you'll get to see at the Gorge Ampitheatre this year. The Grammys are going indie-rock again this year! The music of Bon Iver is featured on this new commercial for the Grammys, along with a snow-ghost of Justin Vernon. British shoegaze/space rock collective Spiritualized have announced a tour of UK and North America spanning from mid-March to late May. The tour will be in support of their new album, Sweet Heart Sweet Light , which will be released March 19th via Fat Possum (US) and Double Six (UK). Headed by ex- Spaceman 3 member Jason Pierce (J. Jason Pierce & Co. schedule massive spring tour.

Photo by Prudence Upton Spiritualized will embark on a North American tour this May, showcasing tracks off their seventh LP, Sweet Heart Sweet Light . Followng a series of dates in the UK and Ireland in March, Jason Pierce and co. will arrive stateside beginning May 2nd in Minneapolis. As of now, the trek ends in Vancouver on May 26th, with Spiritualized then heading back to Europe for appearances at Spain's Primavera Sound and Portugal's Optimus Primavera Sound .
