It's a question nobody asks and nobody cares for an answer... He keeps singing and singing ... But we here at F&M dare to ask and also dare to not only answer, but give you evidence too. *ducks flying objects* It's been mentioned before on why he sings. Click on the above links to read more. For you lazy arses though to summarise: "...as a teenager he sang with band [...]

Red Hot Chili Peppers played two secret/private shows with new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer this past week.
Stay tuned for this all-new instrumental box set from Damu. "Spur Momento" will feature over 75 new instrumental tracks (almost no horns!) and is likely to cast a long shadow. " His Majesty Andre is like daddy's old record that skips under the cutting needle creating that surprising groove you've always waited for under the club lights." Or so the Italian says. HMA recently released a massive six-track EP, Battle of the Spurs , that's best described as no frills, all disco. Funky basslines and looping, ever-repeating disco samples and screaming divas make the EP a must-have for any fan of the modern disco-electro. Out on Hervè's always dependable Cheap Thrills , this is not one to be missed. Be sure to also grab [...]
It took me a while to post this but I think my ears just now stopped ringing. The Broken Spurs rocked the Zanzabar with a great set two Saturdays ago. Frontman Adam Kramer was celebrating his birthday so he was in rare form, which for him, is really saying something! These guys never fail to bring energy, bravado, and huge stadium-worthy guitar licks but this night they seemed bigger any ever, if that's possible for this band. Perhaps it's because the venue was so small. I love Zanzabar and they book great [...]

I can't believe I missed this last month. One of my favorite producers, His Majesty Andre, released an EP on Herve's Cheap Thrills Label that featured a host of tracks that have been hyped for a lonnnggg time. The two most notable are Spades and BBQ Sauce. BBQ Sauce is a particularly interesting track. As the story goes, it was originally just a small demo his majesty made and gave to Jaymo and Andy George, who played it out on their radio show on BBC Radio 1 over a year ago. The track received such positive feedback Andre made it [...]

Remember the scene from Boyz N The Hood when Ricky and Tre were pulled over? Then the Uncle Tom black cop put that gun to Tre's chin solidifying the first cinematic appearance of what would prove to be the inspiration behind Aaron McGruder's "Uncle Rukus." More specifically, do you remember the very next scene when Tre went Brandi's house and he started punching the air while mumbling incoherently? Yeah, that last sentence basically describes me and what life after the All-Star Break has been like. My own friends [...]

Here's some really epic disco house from His Majesty Andre. I think this is a hybrid of both sampling and synthesis. It's kind of a blend between ducksauce/daft punk/Mr. Oizo. My favorite is "Clubs" which you can listen to down below. Clubs - Original Mix
His Majesty Andre highly anticipated EP "Battle of the Spurs" has recently been released and it was well worth the wait. The brand new EP is filled to the brim with 6 filter house tracks that'll satisfy your hunger for good music. Im rather fond of the track "Clubs" because it features a really addicting and catchy synth that sounds like a slightly distorted strumming guitar. The rest of the tracks on the EP are your typical filter house tracks, with a fast but solid bass line, phasing synths, vocal chopping and Daft Punk inspired high hats and kick drums. [...]
