Stalley's Savage Journey to the American Dream  marks his inaugural release as an MMG representer. Features include Curren$y, Wale, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz among others. What a way to start the weekend, as Stalley comes through on his promise and drops off the Savage Journey to the American Dream mixtape. We've heard a bunch about it over the past few months, so there is no surprise that this Maybach Music Group project is going to be top-notch. The mixtape is actually Stalley's first project as an MMG project, and it seems like that Rick Ross backing is already paying off. I probably spend more time wondering how many Smurfs live in Stalley's beard than when his next project is dropping. Don't get me wrong, he outputs solid music and actually raps well but hasn't turned me into a fan. Maybe that will change with the release of " Savage Journey to the American Dream ". Stalley has finally dropped his official tracklist for his upcoming project, Savage Journey To The American Dream. Without hearing more than the track we got with Stalley and Spitta, this tape looks like something everyone is going to need to grab. SJTTAD includes features from Curren$y, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and 2Chainz. That kind of line up along solid production is going to make for a great project. Stalley's new album, Savage Journey To The American Dream drops on Friday. Today he sent out the cover art and the tracklist.  Check everything out below.  According to the tracklist, most of the production is handled by The Block Beattaz except for one track produced by Soundtrakk, one from Chad Hugo, and one from Chuck Inglish.  Features on the project include Curren$y, Wale, 2chainz, Rick Ross, and Anthony Flammia.

Last time Stalley and Spitta linked up was for the awesome "Address" which was one of our favorite tracks of 2010. The two MCs hook up again here on the smooth jazz-inflected "Hammers & Vogues" which will appear on Stalley's upcoming debut LP Savage Journey to the American Dream. The soft rhodes, hushed hi-hats breed beat on "Hammers & Vogues" is the sort of thing $$$$ could rap over in his sleep (or high) (decide which of these two are true) & is the sort of beat that's right square in Stalley's wheelhouse too. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone , Stalley revealed a bit about his creative process and what we can expect from his upcoming project, Savage Journey to the American Dream. While the MMG MC wasn't too enthused about placing features on the album, he did find a place for Curren$y . The final product turns out to be one of my favorite Stalley tracks to date. Stalley 's forthcoming project  Savage Journey To The American Dream  is set to drop March 30. While there have been a ton of leaks over the past few weeks from the Ohio rap slinger, the Chad Hugo produced "Everything New" serves as the first official single from the album. Thanks to Hugo, this Neptunes-esque beat bangs like one of those old Clipse singles. While this isn't the type of jam we are used to hearing from the Ohio native, but it works out pretty damn well.

True story. I'm putting the final edits on my interview with Stalley, when this record hits my inbox.  Shifting gears a little bit, I put the interview on pause to post up "Everything New", the first single from Stalley's forthcoming Savage Journey To The American Dream.  The record is produced by Chad Hugo, and Stalley's new one drops 3/30.  Look for the interview in the next couple minutes.
