Morrissey will finally be taking the stage this week (fingers crossed) in Los Angeles  for a headlining show at the massive Staples Center . This is the rescheduled date after Moz postponed the original show when his mother was hospitalized. He will be performing on Friday, March 1st along with Patti Smith and Kristeen Young who will be opening up the night. "Cleotha ‘Cleedi’ Staples, a founding member of the pioneering folk-gospel group, The Staple Singers, has died at the age of 78. She had gracefully battled Alzheimer’s disease for the last decade and passed away peacefully at her Chicago home on the morning of February 21, 2013. We have the sad news to report that Cleotha "Cleedi" Staples, of the Staple Singers, has died. She was 78. According to Soul Tracks , the member of the beyond-influential soul/R&B/gospel outfit passed away on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 21 at her home in Chicago. She had been battling Alzheimer's disease for the past 10 years or so. The impact Staples and her family's music is immeasurable. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. These well-deserved accolades highlighted the group's work over [...]

Damn. First off Vince Staples sounds incredible on some Cardo production. But with this being the first time that I have pressed play on Joey Fatts, I am pretty much blown away. The Long Beach native comes on the track and partners up with Vince Staples to give me the same satisfaction out of a Cardo beat that I used to get when I would listen to Wiz on one. Today is a good day for dance music enthusiasts - we're able to watch not one impressive livestream, but two.  In addition to Tomorrowland , we are being treated to Kaskade's sold out Staples Center show tonight as well. The show kicks off at 9:15PM PST / 12:15 EST, and should serve as a nice source of entertainment for anyone who was planning to stay in tonight. It's also interesting to note that one year ago today Kaskade was also in LA, but stirring up all sorts of problems due to his impromptu "#flashcrowd, " which ended up shutting streets [...]
