
Stephen King and his son Joe Hill will release their first graphic work as a duo next week. Road Rage, published by IDW as a comic-book series will be available in comic shops next Wednesday. The book follows The Tribe, a gang of grungy, infighting motorcycle outlaws who run afoul of a relentless homicidal trucker. Warner Bros. adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand has landed screenwriter David Kajganich. Kajganich (The Invasion, Blood Creek) also worked on an as-of-yet unproduced adaptation of King's It, which is likely what brought him to director Ben Affleck's attention. Previously adapted as a television miniseries in 1994, "The Stand" tells the story of a full-scale apocalypse, driven by the accidental release of a biological weapon and the ensuing struggle of good versus evil carried out by the world's final survivors.
