Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks have announced a number of shows in February 2012, aiming to hit some of North America's "glittering metropolises" that were skipped on their tour last August. The band's most recent release, Mirror Traffic , was released in 2011.

Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks will be going on a short tour next month that will bring them to Boulder. We'll get a taste of the Beck produced album, "Mirror Traffic," live and watch/listen to their KCRW performance in it's entirety here . The Le Guess Who? festival begins today and runs till Sunday evening in Utrecht. One of the big names at the festival is Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks. Being the generous soul that he is Malkmus has also donated a playlist to the organizers of the festival. But it's not any old playlist, it is in fact the playlist used for the Pavement reunion gigs from all of their shows on their last tour (the music you here when you walked into the venue and wait for the groups).
