On January 16th, You Say Party dropped the single Friends. It kind of made a little ripple on the blogosphere when they came back with this new single and news of a possible new LP or more singles. I've decided to start the weekend off with another fine song from the Abbotsford,British Columbia indie-rock/dance-punk quintet You Say Party! We Say Die! . Laura Palmer's Prom is another number from the band's most recent album XXXX , released on September 29th of this year; the song does well in conjuring up a dreamy 80s feel that couldcertainlyserve as the backdrop to some kind of Brat Pack montage.
