Watching St. Vincent and Sleigh Bells ' Alexis Krauss performing 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' with Cyndi Lauper  right from our very homes/offices/internet cafes. The gig in New York was held to raise money for LGBT charity, True Colors Fund . Watch the footage above.

David Byrne and St. Vincent got their tour bus wheels rolling last night with their first live show in Minneapolis. But instead of sticking to the tracks from recent collaborative LP Love This Giant , the pair decided to throw in a few pseudo-covers of each other's own material. St. Vincent  and Damon Albarn  appeared on Later With Jools Holland last night. The Blur frontman performed a beautiful rendition of 'Apple Carts' taken from Dr. Dee, his forthcoming album based around the life of John Dee , while Annie Clark and her band played Strange Mercy highlight 'Cruel'. A stylistic departure from recent album Strange Mercy , St. Vincent 's Record Store Day offerings 'Grot and 'Krokodil' find themselves in gritty, scuzzier territory with dramatic choral vocals and frantic, chopping guitars. You can listen to both, rather brilliant, new efforts below.

St. Vincent appeared on the Conan O’Brien show this past weekend. She kicked things off by playing a few bars Elvis Costello 's ‘Radio Radio’ before paying homage to his 1977 SNL performance by stopping the band, announcing “I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen, there is no reason to play that song” and launching into Strange Mercy highlight ‘Cheerleader.’

Click here to view the embedded video. As we eagerly lie in wait for St. Vincent ’s London show on 10 November, 4AD have revealed the recent session they recorded with the talented songstress. Recorded at Brooklyn’s Shangri-La Studios and directed by Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth, the footage features four tracks from the brilliant full length album  Strange Mercy:  ‘Surgeon’, ‘Chloe in the Afternoon’ ‘Strange Mercy’ and ‘Year of the Tiger’.
