The American folk-rockers dropped via Brooklyn town mid-week (I'll be there next week fyi) to perform toons off their latest maje maze LP including This Is The Last Time, bringing St Vincent on stage to help out on the occasional backing vocal. Still not got around to giving me ears the ST VINCENT and the D AVID BYRNE treat but am enjoying their performance of WHO via the Jimmy Fallon show yesterday eve as I sip on me peppermint tea at me desk this Tuesday AM.

The album's out next week and after only being streamable for a couple of days, people are raving about Love This Giant , the collaborative album between St. Vincent and David Byrne . This is the second such video performance taken of St. Vincent 's performance at former Elvis Costello keyboardist Steve Nieve 's Parisian house. Apparently, every now and again Steve Nieve ( Elvis Costello 's keyboardist throws private concerts at his house in Paris and invites musicians to perform there. This time around Annie Clark of St. Vincent was invited and performed (presumably among other songs) her Brian Eno cover of "Some Of Them Are Old" . don't roll your eyes at the ST VINCENT false-starting her performance on the CONAN O'BRIEN show. the she-singer launched into the COSTELLO's RADIO RADIO pre-announcing to the crowd "I'm sorry ladies and gentleman, there’s no reason to play that song". and now bring on the pom poms and watch the ST VINCENT perform CHEERLEADER on the CONAN,. sounding and looking fantastic. wotyougot
