MUSIC NEWS - As singer/songwriter PETE YORN wraps up his gigs opening for COLDPLAY (his final show is June 4), he now announces a July headlining tour to support his new album 'Back And Fourth' ( out on June 23 via Sony's Columbia Records). Backed by a new band; including guitarist Jonny Polonsky who also played on the album, Joey Kennedy on keys, Scott Seiver on drums, Mark Noseworthy and Zak Schaffer on guitar, Yorn plans to preview the tour with a special album release show at the Roxy in L.A. on June 24. MUSIC NEWS - Coldplay has announced plans to kick off a North American summer tour starting on July 10 at the Amphitheater at Clark County in Portland, OR. Currently, only fourteen shows are confirmed through early August, but more are expected to be announced. Tix for concerts in San Diego, Toronto, Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC will go on sale February 13 with Tampa, FL and Houston, TX shows available February 21.
