It's 41 degrees today in New York City, which isn't really the ideal weather for a spring cleaning. Thank god for us, the Festival Outlook is all virtual. Today we spent a good deal of our post-drunken haze updating the lineup pages for a slew of the world's festivals, from Osheaga and Bumbershoot to Van's Warped Tour (yes, it still exists) and the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Check out all our work below: And while we have your attention, please be sure to bookmark Festival Outlook and follow us on Twitter . That way, you'll get [...]
Although the first signs of vernal equinox may be late bloomers this week, there was no shortage of blossoming on the festival front. With the first major festival of the season under our belts, let's look ahead to what lies ahead in our futures. Many lineup announcements have been flying in from both sides of the Atlantic, with Reading and Leeds, Northside Festival, Summer Camp, Sweetlife, and Heavy T.O. Camp Bisco joins the ranks of festivals celebrating big anniversaries this year, with their 10th edition attracting big names, while the Hangout Festival continues to add A-list acts to [...]

With so many festivals and concerts around the country set for Memorial Day Weekend, it's a buyer's market. We've now got Amberland, Bisco Inferno, DelFest, StrangeCreek, Phish at Bethel Woods, Sasquatch! and plenty of other events sharing the weekend with Summer Camp . The Chillicothe, IL-based festival aimed to set itself apart from some of the other options with a batch of lineup additions that included keyboardist Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Leeds funk/soulsters The New Mastersounds, Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann's 7 Walkers outfit and a "one-of-a-kind" set from a Huey Lewis and Umphrey's McGee collaboration called rUMors. Austin's annual musical challenge to the brave and eager has rolled around. While film, interactive and games are becoming more important to the South By South West (SXSW) brand, music is at the heart of this Texas festival and once the interactive spring break is over, the skinny jeans and Ray Bans come a knocking, looking to further themselves in some capacity. With over 2,000 bands playing over five days, there's plenty to delve into. Here's a dispatch from the first 48 hours: Screaming Females @ Club De Ville If you like lo-fi [...]
